If you aren’t going to use the mic at all you might want to get a plain stereo 3.5mm cable to connect the headphones to your sound system - the mic, like the multi-line cable, is detachable (see photo of included accessories). I have been able to get them to work with an iPhone with a little effort after plugging and unplugging the included headphone cable several times, the iPhone’s IOS “learned” how to read the input/output of the headphones’ multi-line (headphone/mic) cable. Note: These headphones are designed for DJ’s, gaming, home audio & other multi-media uses, but they are not (automatically) compatible with iPhone/iPod due to IOS disliking non-Apple headphones. FYI, you turn the speakers - in the “ears” - on and off and adjust their volume with small buttons on the ear-cups. They have great bass response, and the little speakers are surprisingly loud. ![]() For sale is one pair of Cat Ear Headphones w/ built-in Speakers from AxentWear (sold by Brookstone) in Excellent, very gently used condition.
